Great home base in Cape Town
Located in a quiet neighborhood in Camps Bay, this villa is short drive to locations in Cape Town and apparently easy for food and wine deliveries. The bedrooms are nice and sunny, and the bathrooms have full sized toiletries, robes, slippers, indoor and outdoor towels. That's key for the pool and deck even though it was too cold to swim when we were there. The communal spaces inside and outside are spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of options for dining - outdoor cookout space, table outside on the deck and inside dining area table as well. The kitchen has enough place settings for groups and multiple meals, as well as a good spice cabinet for cooking. I was tripped up by the induction cooking, but got the hang. There's daily maid service, which is a nice luxury, and a washer/dryer. There's also a sauna, gym and massage table for booking services at the villa - alas we never got to use these. But we booked a private chef for dinners on the patio and that was terrific.
